Zoom Control in Material Design If there is one at all?

It seems that Zoom Control is not in the new applications. Is Zoom Control dead?
How to control an application where there is a zoom then with one hand? ZoomIn of course I understand double click, but triple click does not zoomout (besides triple click is one of the special features on some configurations)
longClick is getting properties like right mouse button. And everything is fine except that it is practically impossible to make multitouch gestures with one hand (for sure for me) So how is the zoomin / zoomout problem solved in modern applications?
