Zabbix. How to monitor agent availability?

There is a Windows machine on which the Zabbix agent is installed. It is necessary to know if the agent has fallen.

I know that there is an agent.ping function. It returns 1 if everything is fine, but if it doesn't return anything, the agent is not available. If it returned 0, then there is no problem at all. The last value is always "1". The essence of my problem is that it is not possible to configure the trigger normally so that it enters and exits the "problem" state. I tried different ways, checked the operation of manually stopping the zabbix agent service, but to no avail. There seems to be a solution nearby, like {Agent_Windows_Log:agent.ping.nodata(2m)}=0

@Evgen_N

There is a regular template with this functionality:
{Template OS Windows:agent.ping.nodata(5m)}=1
