You need to set up AD for a branch - what about WSUS?

Part of the office plans to move to another building.
It is planned for them to raise an additional domain controller, perhaps a file server, set up DFS, connect it to the main office through a tunnel.
There are 2 questions - in the main office there is WSUS - whether it is necessary to lift one more for the second branch?
And the second question - users have my documents and desktop redirected to the server - do I need to store it on a local server or will it be enough to redirect to the main office via DFS? The speed between offices is about 40 Mb/s.

@Keffer

the solution to the problem is to demolish this cancer called wsus forever and generally block access to it from the entire network.
