How do I use Windows Server DNS to direct users to a local site? (similar to HOSTS)?
In short, there is a server on the local network on which the test system is running (Winginx/PHP/Mysql...).
And users who work on it via RDP normally go to tests.local
Now, you need to be able to go to this address from any local PC.
In principle, it is possible to register this site in HOSTS on each PC, but I feel that there should be a simpler solution. For example, using DNS on the server that distributes the Internet. But here's how to set it up - xs. Help please :)
Give a link to the instruction or write what and where to edit?

On the DNS server, create an appropriate zone and add an A record there that will point to the IP of the test system.
And the entry should be something like this: tests.local > 192.168.1.50
here is video 1 and 2 how to do it, if it doesn’t work, then type in Google how to create a zone and A record
