XSendFile for apache 2.4?

Judging by the official website of the module, the latest version is for apache 2.2, but what if I have apache 2.4? Get up? Are there crutches?
I have only one option - throw out apache2 and go learn nginx, but because of my laziness, I don’t really want to do this.
