Wrong laptop assembly sent

Such situation. I ordered a laptop in one online store in another city. Not only did they send a week (taking into account the payment from MY side for sending by AutoLux), they sent the wrong assembly of the laptop, which costs 1000 UAH. cheaper. I called for a long time and tediously, they said that we just can’t compensate for the damage, we need an examination. Again , I don’t really want to send a laptop to these assholes to highly qualified specialists and wait for the weather from the sea. They say that they can only verify the incorrect assembly of the laptop with their own eyes.
Is there any other way out of this situation, except for sending the laptop into the abyss?

How to understand that "the wrong assembly of the laptop"? if the model is the one that is declared, then the assembly cannot change. Or did they send you the wrong model? Or what is stated turned out to be not what is inside? Go to the manufacturer's website and read about the official "stuffing".
If the “stuffing” is different or the wrong model was really sent, then the reaction should be the following.
You have the following documents on hand (correct if something is missing):
1. Invoice and receipt of payment. The invoice must indicate the model and brief equipment of the laptop. If this is not the case, urgently go to the store's website and arm yourself with screenshots with the price and specifications. In some CIS countries, a photograph of the monitor is required, and on film (digital does not count). If I'm not mistaken, the RAW format is allowed, if you can't get the film in any way.
2. You have an invoice from the courier delivery with the date and name of the sender.
3. You have a receipt for payment and a completed warranty card, which should have come with a laptop.
4. Well, there is actually a laptop.
Now call the store and report that you have all these documents on hand. You openly state that on the basis of all these documents, we are not even talking about a violation of the Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights, but about a criminal case under the article “Fraud”. And then you directly ask if they want such a development of events. When asked about an examination, say that no examination is needed, because they stupidly sent the wrong product.
Most stores accept return shipping and replacement. Well, or a refund of the difference in cost, depending on what you are interested in.
If it turned out that the laptop itself had that stuffing (just a mistake crept in on the store’s website, and the manufacturer honestly stated this), then you can exercise the right to return the goods if 14 days have not passed since the date of purchase. In this case, you are required to fully reimburse the cost, well, not counting the costs of money transfer and delivery. Please note that in this case you need to provide the complete package, including the original packaging.

I have an HP ProBook 4720s laptop. It comes in different assemblies, you can take a look if you are interested. The assembly with 4 GB of RAM, 640 GB screw should have come. Came - 3GB of frames, 320 Screw. Such an assembly also exists. The box does not have the build number I ordered.

Yes, in fact - they sent the wrong model, roughly speaking. It's just that there are a bunch of such notes, of the same model (4720s), but different assemblies.

HP laptops have a specific configuration number (like WD904EA) that may be listed on the bottom. By the number, you can accurately tell about the components (for example, you can even call the support hotline and find out about the models). In short, in an online store in the order, it must be specified. If it does not match, then it is obvious that you should replace it. Even on the website of the store it may be written about what to do in case of delivery of the wrong product.

1. There is a complete set.
2. Here is the trouble. The invoice and any checks from AvtoLux are missing due to the fact that they didn’t even tell me anything about them, in short, my mistake. How to deal with it?
3. The warranty card indicates the model of the laptop without specifying the assembly o.O
4. Yes.

From Monday I will decide, while I have neither the strength nor the time. I'm preparing all the docks for Monday, so as not to be fabulous, thanks to everyone for the help in advance, I'll figure it out - I'll unsubscribe, I think in an article, at least on my blog.

The store is sad. He explained the whole situation, saying that he did not agree with being sent for examination, he told me everything that was advised here - he stupidly tells me nonsense that they have no shortage of stock, and everything is fine, but I'm lying.
They offer to send them a laptop ...
