Which open engine to choose for an online store?

Hello colleagues. I left the world of nodejs + angular a long time ago and it’s good there :)
But here you need to help a person quickly deploy an e-shop, taking into account the fact that later I may not be interested in it.
Therefore, I consider the popular, probably on the puff. But already forgotten.
I watch free or at least completely open.
Once I put on VirtueMart + Joomla, but I don’t want this heffalump.
I'm thinking of adding some wordpress plugins, but...
What else would you recommend? It is important that it is easy or even standard for sensors and smartphones to adapt. Integration perspective via XML import/export. Connection of payment systems. Well, extensibility is convenient. Of course, I forgot the puff, but it's still easier to refine the functionality than to search and choose among tons of everything.
Thank you!

@bookworm

Depends which store. There is a simple stall, then I would choose Modx + MS2. If something serious, then it is better to look at commercial solutions. As a last resort, something like Okay-CMS or Moguta. They have free editions.
With opencarts and woocommerce, grab grief. Take my word for it.
