Work under an IP contract
I received an offer to work in an IT company working for an American customer.
I was a little embarrassed by the employment scheme: instead of concluding a labor contract. Code, the company registers employees as individual entrepreneurs and settles accounts with them under a service agreement.
What risks or pitfalls can there be when working according to such a scheme?

The employer does not bear social responsibility - pension contributions, severance pay, etc. You have to take care of taxes yourself.
I can tell WHY the company needs this...
In a nutshell, this is due to the fact that starting from 1.1.2011, our beloved authorities increase the taxation of the payroll.
Options for comparison: 1) a full-time employee of the company 2) You are an individual entrepreneur
Let you have to pay 100 rubles of salary.
1) From 100 rubles of your salary, the company will now pay 26.4 rubles of taxes (from 11/1/2011 - 34 rubles) ...
13 rubles of your personal income tax will also go to the state treasury ... You will receive 87 rubles in your hands ...
The amount - 126.4 rubles will go into the costs of the enterprise
2) From 100 rubles, the enterprise receives costs of 100 rubles, the
state 6 rubles, you get 94 rubles in your hands ...
What do you think, WHICH option is more profitable for the company?
Yes, but keep in mind that the company will still pay 18% VAT if it cooperates with individual entrepreneurs on a simplified basis, and as a rule, individual entrepreneurs are all on simplified taxation.
But in total it is more profitable than paying 34%.
In general, some kind of cruelty begins on the part of the state in relation to entrepreneurs.
This is the normal pattern.
Firstly, it is easier for the employer - no deductions to the Pension Fund, you are doing this.
Secondly, your relationship is regulated only by the contract - in which your conditions can be taken into account.
The company is not Jensen Technologies for an hour? I was there and I immediately wanted to leave apologizing for the wasted time. About 50-60 people sit somewhere on 90 square meters, stuffy, the windows are closed, and the room itself evokes sad feelings. Although the business center is elite (it happened in St. Petersburg), but their whole situation is somehow depressing.
As for the main issue of the topic - registration as an individual entrepreneur - there are too many hemorrhoids with various government agencies. Now I work at T-Systems. The conditions, compared to JT, are many times better, in terms of the fact that you just come to work and work, for which you get the money you earn.
With this scheme, you pay a 6% tax on income, plus contributions to the pension fund (as already written above, 16,000 per year). Add to this the opening of a bank account (approximately 1000-2000 rubles), payment of an Internet bank, if necessary (from 500 rubles / month), plus bookkeeping and quarterly reports to the tax and pension (accounting and reporting can be done by yourself for free, for example, with using the services "My Business" or "Elba Kontur"). At the same time, you do not have vacation, sick leave, and other social goodies that ordinary office employees have.
