With what parameters to start ffmpeg if I want to record a video for later upload to youtube?

As you know, screen recording (x11grab) is possible with ffmpeg. I want to make a screencast, the subsequent placement on the youtube channel.
I heard that it is advised to first make a lossless recording, and then encode using one or another codec. I also heard that some craftsmen encode video in two passes: there is a presentation, what is it for, but is it really necessary? Interested in: how to record a video using ffmpeg for later upload to a youtube channel?
It is worth considering: the video will not have many changes from frame to frame (the process of developing the application will be shown).

Lossless recording is needed to ensure continuous recording in real time so that there are no lost frames. You can write in MOV.
Two-pass encoding is not needed, since you upload to YouTube anyway.
Sometimes it's faster to upload a weakly compressed gigabyte to YouTube than to convert it first into 50..100 megabytes and only then upload it to YouTube.
You can also use the webm codec - nienhueser.de/blog/?p=469
