Windows xp + openvpn client is not blocking internet, how to fix?

Vmware windows xp, mac base.
When you first start openvpn, it seems to work as it should (unp vpn), I close the virtual machine (I save the session).
I start - openvpn reconnects ... (during operation, you can surf the network, it does not block. SP is your own) - after connecting openvpn, SP is still your own (not vpn).
openvpn works like that in the background.
with win7/vbox+winxp/ there are no such problems.
How to fix it?

You did not write where OpenVPN is installed and how the network is arranged.

See where default gate or 0.0.0.0/0 is configured on the machine where OpenVPN is installed.
