Windows 8 refund?

I bought an Acer laptop with pre-installed Windows 8. The official website of the manufacturer contains information about the refund of the cost of the MS Windows family, but there is no data on the latest version. As far as I know, you need to turn it in within a month, otherwise you can not wait for compensation ... Is it worth counting on a refund from the service center or while such a program for Windows 8 does not exist and is not expected in the near future?

If you have not accepted the user agreement, a return is possible within 14 days. They demolish the OS at the nearest service center (in some cases, in the store where they bought it). You are given a piece of paper that confirms that the wasp was demolished (needed for warranty repairs). And don't forget to take a check.
In general, in your user manual, all this should be written (I have, though a Samsung laptop).

I don’t know how it really is, but the return must be made, the consumer has the right to refuse the system. Maybe they just haven't updated their website? Have you tried calling SC?

In general, it makes no sense to demolish oem'ku under warranty if you do not have a licensed retail product available. What will this thousand rubles give you, while the acquisition of 8k is exorbitantly expensive.
Sooner or later, "non-pirates" will have to upgrade to w8, so it's better to do it now.
