Windows 8 Embedded and Windows Store
When I studied at the university, I managed to become a member of the Dreamspark program from Microsoft. The other day I noticed among the software available under the program Windows 8 Embedded Industry Pro. Wanted to try. I understood from the Internet that this is the OS version for terminals, stands, etc. After installation, I was pleasantly surprised to find that visually it is almost no different from the desktop classic version. However, when I tried to install the application from the market, I got the message "No application was found to process links of this type (ms-windows-store)". That is, as far as I understand, this functionality is cut out of the OS.
And now the question is: is it possible to somehow restore this functionality, and what program should handle links of this type?

As far as I remember, according to dreampark/bizpark, it is given to develop for it, for example, some kind of terminal in a file cabinet, to search for books in the database.
i.e. you cannot use this license in a production solution.
