Windows 8.1/Wifi/Broadcom 802.11n/TL-WR740N. Why does the internet drop out from time to time?

Windows 8.1/Wifi/Broadcom 802.11n/TL-WR740N. From time to time, the Internet (wifi) disappears, the connection becomes limited. Although there are no problems with the cable connection, what could be the trouble? Tried updating drivers, adjusting power settings, changing channels

+1. Didn't upgrade to 8.1. Helps only turn off/on the device in compmgmt.msc

@d0rian

may be due to interference from neighboring access points, temporary noise backgrounds in your Wi-Fi range .. look with the inssider utility what is happening on the air .. or better, go to the router and devices that support 802.11ac, 5GHz ..
