Windows 8.1 on SATA3 SSD via PCI-Ex1 controller?

Hello, in general, the point is, there is an old motherboard with SATA2, hdd is bent, there is a free PCI-Ex1 slot.
The computer has winXP with 1s 8.2, I want to upgrade without replacing the motherboard with SATA 3 through the controller, to speed up 1ski and the computer as a whole. I apologize for technical inaccuracies, that's why I'm asking the question here
In other words, there is GIGABYTE GA-G41M-ES2L market.yandex.ru/product/4527771
I want to replace the HDD - mainly SATA3 for sale - there are such
controllers ) 6GB/s PCI-E x1 v.2.0
technopoint.ru/catalog/i25499549/kontroller-4xsata...
and also HDD or SSD
WD Caviar Black WD5003AZEX
technopoint.ru/catalog/i155731/zhestkij-disk-wd-ca ...
SSD Kingston SV300S37A
technopoint.ru/catalog/i25510363/tverdotelnyj-nako…
do it - take ssd connect to sata 2, take ssd leave windu install 1s current on ssd, install through the controller (will the bios see through the controller ssd to sata3 and will there be real throughput) will the failure of the ssd drive accelerate due to the use of the controller?
I stick to this take the controller - install an SSD on sata3, total 4300, install wine 8.1 there (which, by the way, is questionable - is it possible?) Install on the same SSD 1c c database, and office, and put everything else on my docks chrome cache old hdd and make daily 1ski backups in the cloud and just copy the database to another computer with hdd over the network. Can you tell me if there are any better alternatives?

Is it worth it to bother with an SSD or don't worry and buy a regular HDD, taking into account that the new disk will have to store a local database from 1ski to 2 gigabytes?

- I think it's worth it.
Of course, 1s from SSD itself will not work faster, of course, but the system installed on SSD will noticeably speed up and work much more comfortably.
Here the principle is as follows -
if there is nothing on the physical disk except for one base 1c, then the performance gain from replacing hdd with ssd will be zero.
But if there are several databases, or some other frequently used data is stored, and even more so if the system is installed, then the increase will be decent.
It’s better not to mess with controllers like those that you indicated, and if you still bought it, then it’s better to immediately throw it into the trash can.
And most importantly, why do you need SATA3? An SSD works fine on SATA2, so just buy an SSD and put it in place of the drive.
UPD.
Didn't notice that moment.
move chrome cache to old hdd
- exactly the opposite.
On the SSD, you should place files with which you often work, and on which performance depends, i.e. browser caches, tempos, swap file, documents with which you actively work.
The HDD contains static information that is rarely accessed - archives, rarely used documents, large files.

move chrome cache to old hdd

It's not very clear why the chrome cache from a fast ssd should be removed to a slow hdd...

I join Artem - SSD 120G or more under Windu and 1C to stick into the existing motherboard. Old disk - for archives and other files.
What is the point of installing Win 8.1? I would install Win 7.

@Abso1ute

Well, the option disappeared with the controller, because on the mother PCI-Ex1 v1.1 and on control 2.0
As for the boot disk from the controller, it is possible if the drivers are preinstalled during the installation of windows, they write that from 7ki everything is installed without problems with firewood by default.
SSD sata3 on sata2- windows 8.1 1c with bd + office? Is it worth it to bother with an SSD or don't worry and buy a regular HDD, taking into account that the new disk will have to store a local database from 1ski to 2 gigabytes?
