Windows 7 Ultimate x86, 6GB RAM + PAE?

Good afternoon,
There is someone who actually installed PAE on Windows 7 Ult. (32 bit platform).
Interested in this particular version.
At startup , it
BCDedit /set PAE forceenablewrites "The operation completed successfully", but without a result.
habrahabr.ru/blogs/i_am_clever/20179/ says that:

Перед вами встаёт выбор:
* Забить и жить с этим — наименее тернистый путь, имхо
* Поставить 64битную ось — всё-таки у 64битных систем ещё есть проблемы с совместимостью. Вылечив одно, покалечите другое.
* Поставить серверную 32битку — именно о нём я и собираюсь рассказать поподробнее.
On a machine with 6GB RAM, I don't think it's worth installing the server version.

@prox

put here such a patch , sees and uses all the installed memory. the truth is put like not on all sets of iron. other than that, no complaints

And what kind of compatibility problems do 64-bit systems have, if not a secret?

Microsoft Windows implements PAE if booted with the appropriate option, but current 32-bit desktop editions enforce the physical address space within 4GB even in PAE mode. Microsoft limits 32-bit versions of Windows to 4GB due to a licensing restriction, and Microsoft Technical Fellow Mark Russinovich says that some drivers were found to be unstable when encountering physical addresses above 4GB.

You need server Windows or 64 bits. Both are fine for desktop.

On a desktop 32-bit Windows, access beyond 4 gigs via PAE does not work due to licensing restrictions. Here this problem is discussed in detail. There are few options here: either 64 bits, or a server version, or refusing 6 gigs (however, in memory above 4 gigs, you can place a logical disk for swap and temporary files using RAMDisk), or patch, as described in that article, violating the license , risking glitches and praying every time the system is updated so that the patch does not fly off.

What specific compatibility issues are you concerned about? I have been living on 64-bit axes for more than a year and they have never infringed on my rights.

Fuck PAE, then you will swell up bugs with software, put x64 and don't worry.

Here if to use server Windows - then problems with compatibility can begin. (Many free products are not installed on server Windows and require the installation of a paid server version of these products)
