Windows 10 Technical Edition to install or is 8.1 better yet?
You need an operating system for everyday work on Gigabyte Brix.
Windows 8.1 I plan.
I thought about Windows 10: is it better to install or still 8.1 for now?
Are device drivers designed for Windows 8.1 compatible: will they fit on 10?
Thank you.

While it is better not to bet - the curve is raw and unviable at this stage IMHO.
I would wait for the release if I were you. There is nothing so special in 10k that would rush to upgrade to it.
No, the version distributed for testing and review should not be installed for work. There are licensing restrictions as well. Even though I haven't found any time limits for using this test version right now, this version will not necessarily be upgraded to the version that Microsoft releases at release.
the name Technical Edition seems to hint that this version is not for everyday work
The final release of Windows 10 is scheduled for fall 2015. You have time to think, details here xakep.ru/2014/12/18/win10-tech-review
Judging by the fact that they did it again (note: they released a crooked and inconvenient nonsense), then I would not advise, but it's up to you to decide, fortunately, enough information, reviews and reviews have already appeared.
I put it on an old computer (by the way, also gigabyte - d525tud) to play with Arduino - it works fine, I liked it. The seven drivers are up. It collapsed a couple of times, but nothing was lost, it recovered itself. On the main computer 7, 8 do not like it even once.
Recently I installed the 10th, and after the N-th update, half of the applications fell off and everything began to slow down terribly, although everything was quite good before the update. So it doesn't work for the OS.
