Windows 10 Pro now on subscriptions?

Hello. What's wrong with Windows 10 Pro? There are already three computers on the corporate network saying "Your license is expiring". I bought a boxed licensed version of Windows, activated it ... and now it counts some days until the license expires. How long has Win 10 Pro been on subscriptions?

Yes, Windows 10 Pro requires volume licenses to be reactivated after 180 days.
slmgr /dlvwill show how much is left.
