Windows 10 how to change the metric (priority) of the interface?
There is Windows 10. And this Windows 10 no matter how you try to assign a metric manually, it still assigns it itself.
The bottom line is that a 3G modem is inserted into the computer and the Internet should only work through it, a wired network is also connected to the computer. Naturally, while the wire is connected, Windows will strive to get the Internet from it. But from the wire you only need access to the local area, nothing more.
I tried to enter the route manually with a larger metric in PowerShell.
Tried not to enter the route at all.
I tried to enter the route and specify the metric explicitly in the network card settings in the network and sharing center.
I tried to set an indecently large metric for the wired interface.
And still, paradoxically, when the cable is connected, the traffic through the modem stops going.
How to fix it? How to make Windows 10 work only through a 3G modem, regardless of whether the cable is connected or not?

HERE'S THE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM! For Win 10
Local Group Policy Editor -> Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Network -> Connection Manager -> Reduce Count. concurrent connections to the Internet or a Windows domain (set to disable). By default, it is enabled or not set, which is the same.
