Dealing with the local network, I came across an interesting question - when configuring DHCP in ubuntu (dhcp3) for slow connections, it is possible to specify the DHCP connection timeout (/etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf):
timeout 120
The question is - where can I do it in Win7? Or is it now so smart that it can guess when it's still worth waiting, and when it's too late?
The problem is that I have the slowest DHCP reception, that in Ubuntu I still had to change the timeout. In Windows, it was not necessary to change at first, but today for the first time she could not get a DHCP response, despite the fact that ubunta could normally.
