I redid the circuit for 12 volts, will it work?
The nano will be powered by a usb adapter, the 12v input will be used to power the big 12v stuff

Just take into account the collector current limitation of the transistor - 600 mA, that is, the load is not more than 7.2 W at 12 V.

The transistor may not open. Add a resistor from the base to +5 volts with a rating of 2.2 to 5k.
