Will they get banned from AdMob?

The situation is as follows: due to my own stupidity (carefully read the requirements for displaying interstitial advertising), one application was banned in AdMob. Ads were displayed in a way that sometimes resulted in accidental clicks. I changed the logic of displaying the interpage, and, accordingly, I had to switch to another advertising network. The pain is that revenues in another ad network have fallen catastrophically.
Question for knowledgeable people: does it make sense to write a letter to AdMob support with repentance and a description that all requirements have been taken into account or is it better not to do this? The Internet is full of stories about how people blocked their entire account after such letters, I would not want to join their ranks.
