Will the Ubiquiti Nanostation M5 connect to the Nanostation 5ac Loco as a base station?

There were two Nanostation M5, the base one began to flash red and green lights (a cursory google came to the conclusion that this is apparently death), I think to buy 5ac Loco (distance 1km, here, in theory, any loco should be enough), so that it is inexpensive and there is a reserve for the future . Question - will the old M5 and the new 5ac Loco make friends?
And another question - will the old PoE adapter from M5 fit 5ac Loco?

No problem, everything is compatible, both pieces of iron operate in the 5 GHz band.
A PoE injector is also suitable from an old device.

It will work, but the old point will not allow you to use the delights of the new AirMax AC protocol.
