Backup

Will the recovery be complete?

The situation is this - I have a macbook, on it - yosemite GMC 3.0, of course I want to roll the final release and, ideally, do a clean installation ... In addition, there is a bootcamp section with Windows, where client banks (then just crutches) hang run already under mas. And the problem is that setting up client banks was very difficult, I’m not ready for such a new feat ... And, finally, the question itself - if I make ONLY a backup of the Mac partition, format it, put it back from scratch, pump up the system backup - will it pick up all connections again with bootcamp? Excuse me if the question is noobish and I formulated it incorrectly ... Well, in general, will these actions affect the partition with Windows in any way or will everything be ok? Thank you!

Affected. Windows - 100% will not be loaded.
You will need to update (reconfigure) bootcamp.
If there is no special need for a new OS, then it is better not to upgrade. There are no particular advantages in it, and it is still raw. Wait at least for the first updates.

With a clean install of MacOS - you select a partition on the disk to install. The time machine backup contains files from the root partition (Windows is definitely not there). Parallels images can be transferred to any media and they will run without problems.
The system booted by default is set in the bootcamp settings in Windows and in the boot volume in macos.
To boot into Windows, you need to hold down Alt.
I updated yesterday - the figure eight on the second section is not affected, as it was loaded by Alt and it is loaded.
And you can also drive the system into parallels from the bootcamp section)))

In theory, Vinci for Windows and Mac do not touch and the bootcamp should work as it did

Put the update on top, but in general I would not do this either. The owner of Beta 7 himself, if I'm not mistaken, it seems she was the last. So, updating to a release, the build of which differs by only one digit, leads to a non-working Notification Center. And judging by the threads in discussion.apple.com with a clean install, this happens no less often. I tried to update and I must say, I did not find any difference between the builds at all, except for the broken Notification Center.
