What happens to MSSQL if it fails under Hyper-V Replica?

There is a MSSQL database, 1C is spinning in it, people are working. I want to allocate SQL to a virtual machine and replicate it using Hyper-V Replica. SQL means will not work, because. SQL Express cannot be a replication publisher, only a subscriber. I heard that the 2012 server can properly steer VSS so as not to kill SQL, i.e. VSS asks SQL how to copy it correctly. Is this true, does anyone have experience? How can you increase the fault tolerance of a server with a small cut? MP recently failed - the server stood for several days. It’s clear that I’ll make a replica to the cloud and backup there, but user data for the day will be lost if there is a failure.
Please do not offer to change the database, there are too many problems with Postgre + 1C.

backup, but users' data per day will be lost if it fails.
Make a recovery copy more often.
work at least once every five minutes
You need to have a proper database recovery plan. The overhead will be lower as MSSQL has more features. For example, you can make full backups daily and differential backups as often as you can.
