Will the MacBook Pro 2020 (MWP42) and Mac OS in general be suitable for full-fledged Java development?

I recently graduated from school (this summer) and immediately decided that I wanted to develop in this area, so I asked to buy me a MacBook Pro 13'' 2020, on Intel Core i5 10th generation 16 GB RAM 512 SSD.
My question is quite popular among novice programmers and there is a lot of information on the Internet on this subject, but I have not received a specific answer.

So what is the question? Is a MacBook and Mac OS in general suitable for Java programming? Is it possible to go from a complete ignoramus to a Senior Software Java Developer on a Mac, or is Windows indispensable? If all the same, if I want to program on Mac OS, then I should take a closer look at the same iOS development?

I wouldn't recommend a 13" laptop for development. For development in java, the system is of no fundamental importance, but many developers write on poppies, rather, this is due to the inability to use the usual toolkit in windows, this toolkit climbed onto the poppy from nix.
