Will the hdd work after replacing the board?

Hello, I have
a Seagate Barracuda propeller. It works great, but the power mount on the hard drive board has broken and I'm afraid that at some point a short circuit may occur, because.
the cable can shift to neighboring contacts
. But, I can't figure out if this procedure is required or only needed to save the recorded data.
Question: if the data is not needed, will it be enough just to swap the boards and format the disk? Now I'm thinking about whether to try to reanimate it or just send it to the scrap ...

Necessarily, the calibration data is stored there, without them it will not be possible to format.
