Will the cooler fit into the case?

I'm buying a used computer in a new case (the existing case is ≈17 years old, and in 2011 not every cooler got into it, but now it's finally outdated).
I looked at the case on the Internet - according to advertising, max. cooler height 150 mm. I asked the seller what kind of cooler he had - 152 mm. It turns out a "gray zone" - it can fit, or maybe not, it's a matter of millimeters. What's the best thing to do? Take without talking? Choose another? Calculate better? And if calculated, how?

@pudovMaxim

What coolers are you talking about? Because somehow I have not heard about 150/152mm coolers.

I "modified" the case by simply extruding in the place where the cooler is located. The paint is not damaged - it is quite elastic.
