Will the applications remain on the phone if I changed my account in the Play Market from the same phone?

I bought a used phone and there was an account of the former owner of the phone. I created a new account from a computer (I don’t have a phone with me yet) and I’m going to enter Google Play through it! Will installed apps from that account stay on the phone and show up in the new account?
