How do I resolve a copyright issue in a Word of the Day app?

We are planning to develop an application of the "word of the day" type, the application displays some word every day, but selected according to a certain principle, by the way a description and an example of use are given, it is possible to view the entire dictionary.
The dictionary is stored on the server, not in the application.
The question is, words will be collected from publicly available different dictionaries, some words will be from dictionaries that have not been published for 50-70 years, what are the nuances with a possible violation of rights? How to approach this issue correctly?

Is there a link to the site? Great, make a "right holders" section and let there be a large list of dictionaries where you get it from. It is important that you do not pass off information as your own.
