I have an Asus k501uq laptop: Intel® Core™ i5 6200U, 8GB DDR4 2133MHz SDRAM, NVIDIA, 2GB VRAM GeForce 940MX.
I want to take the monitor LG Gaming 29UM69G-B 29" https://www.citilink.ru/catalog/computers_and_note...
The question is will my laptop pull a monitor in this resolution? I take the monitor for layout.

There is nothing better than to come to the store with a laptop and check the monitor, but if you can't, then pull. Now it's rare for a laptop to run at 2560x1080. According to DisplayPort, on my smaller TX laptop (Surface Pro 2 256gb), I have been quietly pulling 1920 × 1200 on the second monitor for 4 years.

Why can't he pull at all? Here, explain to me the chain of reasoning that led you to this doubt, I'm not kidding, I really want to understand.
If 8 megabytes of video memory was enough for a resolution of 1024 * 768, and 32 megabytes was also enough for rendering simple 3D graphics, even at a higher resolution, then why can't a modern laptop just show the image on a monitor that doesn't give a damn?!
