Will it be possible to download the VS Code settings if I regenerate the Github token?
Actually, there are plug-ins for VSCode that allow you to save data in the "cloud" and synchronize them: Settings Sync and Syncing
When downloading the settings, according to the instructions, you must first enter the Github token, and then the Gist ID (although I checked, not public gist's can still be viewed, they just don't appear on the profile to anyone other than the profile owner).
So, what if you forgot the token? You can re-create it on the token page:
But if you enter this new token in Settings Sync, and then Gist ID, will the settings be picked up from gist or not?

Experimented - it is possible, there are no problems. The main thing is not to forget the gist's ID with information about setting up and VSCode extensions
