Will it be difficult for a programmer of a different category to write code for games?

Good day to all. In my region, where I live, it is quite problematic to find and assemble a team of video game developers, I myself am a game designer and artist, I turned to one of the only companies in my region that develops mobile applications (Not games). Fortunately, they responded, but said that they had not dealt with games before, some of the company agreed to help me when I showed them a small concept trailer for my game. I want to know if it will be hard for programmers who have not written code for games?
Write code in JavaScript and many other languages. C# is not present. Basically, these are WEB programmers.
If there are such programmers among you, please answer, would it be problematic for you to write code?

Not to say that it would be, straight, problematic, but this is a completely different expertise.
To switch to another expertise, experienced developers, in my experience, to the normal quality of work, it will take at least 3 months.
A couple of tips that may be useful:
- if the guys, along the way, will offer more direct solutions, then approach this very carefully and, preferably, go to a meeting if this solution solves the same logic
- if it is possible to connect, at least remotely, one specialist with expertise in game dev, who will help you and the guys with advice, then this will greatly simplify your life and that of the developers. He is needed, to a greater extent, as a consultant, he should already have "trodden paths". The ideal option - if he can lead the team
- divide the entire scope of work into small parts and develop from general to specific
- in the process of performing tasks, "cut corners" and set MVP as the primary goal. After that, all these corners can already be "licked". If you don’t even have an MVP, then you don’t have anything, there will be an MVP - there will be something to build on and take the next steps

Not difficult, depends on the actual qualifications of the developers.
Let them write in JavaScript.
There are 100,500 ready-made frameworks, you can even make a browser.
Pay attention to MVP - this abbreviation in economics means minimum valuable product - create prototypes as often as possible. You can even start with a functional prototype - the team will have an understanding of the implementation.
Look for simple solutions, set small tasks, then everything will work out.

Gamedev is still very far from typical web development, although it is possible to make a game using js, developers will have to learn a lot. Just like here they wrote a little clumsily for three months.

Find a developer remotely. It all depends on what kind of game, what kind of gameplay you need to program: mobile crafts and web developers will be able to do it. And if something is more difficult, then they will cry, and you too - tasks of a different plan and complexity can be found in game development.

Are you sure you want to write code? If you have a concept for the game, then maybe you should take on the role of a team leader and supervise other programmers?
As for js, you can successfully write scripts on Unity on it. To master the engine, lessons from an off site with educational projects are quite suitable . True, they are made using C #, but I think it will be important for you to understand the logic, and languages are interchangeable.

Started with php + primitive js (websites). Then he released php + actionscript 3 (games), then c# (games are no longer on flash, but on units), then some mobile applications (objective c), then returned to the world of js, which at that moment was undergoing significant changes (es6, webpack , react, vue...). Not difficult, though in my case I like to write websites and games.
