Will existing leads disappear when stages are deleted?

Hello
There was a need to delete, change and add stages for leads and deals.
But there are already a lot of filled leads in the system, including those at the stages that will be deleted.
Question: what will happen to them? Will they disappear from the system or move to other stages?
The same is true for transactions.

If the stage/status is deleted, the entities will not disappear (will not be deleted). That's right, either they will move to other stages, or there will be a display completely with an unassigned stage - then you will need to adjust (assign):

Since this is a closed product, it is better to address such a question to technical support - we simply do not have the opportunity to find out this algorithm. Someone can answer you as it was at some point in the past , but the developers could well change this logic. If you want a guarantee that the data will not be lost - communicate with support.
