Will a SATA 3.0 hard drive connected with an old SATA cable work at the correct speed?
I bought myself a hard drive in a new PC, the SATA cables that came with the motherboard are over. I also want to remove this cable from the old PC of 2009. Question:
There is only SATA 3.0, 2.0, etc. interface itself. are the cables the same? Or does the cable, like the interface, also have the corresponding specification?
I also looked at CITILINK right away. Some directly indicate SATA 3.0:

Others do not indicate:

All SATA cables are identical, if the cable is of good quality and serviceable, there will be no problems.
Connect as is, everything should work.
If you have any doubts, you can download R.tester, it shows the supported and used modes of operation of SSDs and hard drives: https://rlab.ru/tools/rtester.html
If you wish, you can also run a reading test in it and look at the speed graph .
