Will a raid array from a sata3 HDD work optimally in a sata2 motherboard?
Good day! Question about a relatively large home raid array. (photos, music, films). There will be 3 x 6tb disks in raid0 + 1 x 8tb disk for photo backups
Question: These disks have an external speed of 263.5 MB/s for reading and 111 MB/s for writing. So, if you take a motherboard with sata2, which, as you know, has a bandwidth of up to 300MB / s, will it be normal to pull the speed. Or is it still mandatory sata3?
PS. SSD in the system is not planned.
ZYY. Interested in just such a configuration. I know about nas, etc.
