Will a proxy-server give an increase in speed on the Internet?

Hello, my name is Alexander, the question is as follows: Suppose I (the user) decided to connect to the Internet in a nearby cafe or, say, went to a shopping center, then connecting to a public WI-Fi point found that the speed of receiving and issuing traffic is very low (30Mb /s and 30Mb/s). Tell me, if I set up contact with my proxy server (By "my proxy server" I mean: a paid service from a company that provides me with the use of a proxy server), will I see an increase in Internet speed, will the bandwidth change?

No, a proxy server will not give a performance boost, because the speed of access to the proxy server will remain a bottleneck.
You can get acceleration by using "optimizing" proxies that compress data (for example, minify HTML and compress graphics.

Only if the proxy has a thick channel, the proxy itself transmits information in a compressed form, and the transmitted information itself is well compressed. And that's not a fact.

Will change.
It will become smaller :)
Because any request will first go to the proxy, the proxy downloads it and gives it to you - a sort of huge loop is formed. In addition, in free cafes or malls , speed is specially cut, time is limited, etc.
