Will a Middle+ developer be hired without a github profile?
Good afternoon. I have been freelancing for over 2 years now. Not on the stock exchange... I started with dating: I did a job for one "uncle", he advised me to another, and so on... and advertised himself (projects were mainly for non-IT companies, because the area of my work is Data science and had to automate production, develop online fitting rooms, write databases for enterprises, etc. a lot of things). But I'm a little tired of all this, and I want to work in a team. And then all this time I had to listen to the customer on my own and implement his task on my own (a couple of times the project was so big that I had to hire other freelancers). On the side (when I'm not working) I sit on different "mathematical" sites (dxdy.com). But when I start doing something on github (my projects), there is a feeling of dislike for programming ... burnout begins in fact). ps I accidentally almost ruined a commercial project because of this. Then he went away for 2 months and did nothing.
As a result of this, the question is: if the developer knows his business, but there is no time for github due to possible burnout, then how to confirm his knowledge in front of a recruiter?
Familiar team leaders say that on questions about projects (that is, how I wrote them). + Familiar team leads and seniors don’t have a git either ... I wonder if they are so strange or such a trend? ... but I’m not a team leader and not a senior)

Normal situation. I also have one garbage in github.
Although there are 100+ projects of various kinds in the closed repositories of the projects I am working on.
There is not enough time for pet projects.
It used to happen that the juniors who quit took the projects and placed them in their turnips like they did it themselves, although they might not really participate in the project at all.
The information about commits - of course - was cleaned up ... As a result, their repositories look more profitable than mine. So draw your own conclusions.
Github is just what a freelancer needs. For hired work - he did not give up for 100 years. The main thing is how you solve problems for a coding interview.
But when I start doing something on github (my projects), I get a feeling of dislike for programming...- I do not understand how it can be. On the contrary, I want to snatch more time for my projects, but clients buy and buy, and it’s a pity to miss the money, and then the feeling that I was working for money on other people’s projects, I sold my dream.
Sometimes they hire Middle without real work experience, even without one day in any company) But this is mainly a front-end, there are a dime a dozen of such macaques. I can’t say anything about Data science, but if you look at working in a company, the principle is the same everywhere, you just need to sell yourself correctly. If you really know your business, then those specialists in the social security will immediately see it. But before that, you need to go through the filter of recruiters who separate applicants with empty resumes.
Describe completed projects in more detail in your resume, and in github... Do you think employers have so much time to delve into your sources? You barely have time to scatter managerial tasks, where to dig into other people's pet projects, and when hiring an employee, interviews and a couple of simple test tasks are usually enough to show understanding of the issue. Then there is usually a probationary period.
