Tell me about php + java?

Did you interview at a certain company? which enters the e-commerce market. They say that they want View in php and business logic in java. It’s in my head, somehow it doesn’t fit very well, why do this? Does this make sense and what are the pitfalls when developing with such a stack of technologies, is it worth going there at all or will it be one headache?

Maybe you mean JS and some Angular in particular?

Quite a suitable solution, one part of the application writes to the database, processes requests and implements business logic ( java ), the second part simply reads the database and displays data ( view in php )
