Will a computer without a graphics card be suitable for web design and web development on the new UHD 630 Coffee Lake?
Hello.
I've heard that the new UHD 630-core coffee cups are pretty good for running on a 4K monitor.
Will there be enough computer on one processor (for example, i5 8400), without a video card for basic programs - photoshop, XD, PhpStorm. And will it be enough to develop complex 3D webgl graphics on a 4K monitor via DP on the motherboard, the load will be 4 times more than when using a FHD monitor?
For example, on my old i3, I open this 3D demo and Intel HD graphics freeze: Example .
Please help with the choice, the budget is not very big, if you have a coffee-lake, please see an example with a disabled video card on a 4K monitor or would like to FullHD.
Or is it better to take a Ryzen 2200g with an integrated video core and a DisplayPort 4K/60hz motherboard? As far as I know, not all software is yet optimized for these APUs.
This direction on the web is very interesting, but I would like to save on a video card.
Thank you. All the best))

Specifications The performance of the
Intel HD 630 is very good for an integrated video core. The maximum frequency of the graphics chip is 1150MHz (most HD 630s work on it), the minimum is 950MHz (on the mobile Core i3 7100H). The video adapter contains 24 universal processors, which is quite a lot for an integrated solution.
Memory
As expected from an integrated video card, the HD 630 does not come with its own video memory. Instead, the chip uses the computer's available RAM. The amount of memory depends on the amount of installed RAM and UEFI BIOS settings, the speed of work depends on the frequency of the RAM. And since Kaby Lake processors work with DDR 4 memory, you should not worry about the speed of the integrated graphics core.
Unlike most other integrated video adapters, the HD 630 bus is 128 bits, which can be seen on fairly good discrete ones. In terms of API, the video card is ahead of the rest, it has full support for DirectX 12, OpenGL 4.4, OpenCL 2.0 and Intel Quick Sync. In theory, the chip is quite capable of handling any modern computer game or complex video editing, although in practice this is not entirely true.
For what tasks is the Intel HD 630 suitable?
Typically, integrated solutions are used exclusively for office tasks, and here the HD 630 has no problems, which is not a surprising factor. With it, you can watch videos or movies in any modern resolution. Whether it's HD, FullHD, QuadHD or even 4K - nothing can make the video chip slow down.
