Wi-fi does not work when installing Ubuntu on a laptop, why?

I install Ubuntu on a laptop, always immediately during installation, the laptop connects to the Internet and downloads updates.
In this case, the Wi-Fi icon is off, the laptop is not looking for networks ...
PS: The FN on / off buttons do not help.
Help me please.

I'm 99 percent sure that you have a hardware blocking on my Asus laptop , the
same problem was typed in
the
rfkill list all
command . Try following this article. ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2181558 the documentation says you can do rfkill unblock all But that never worked for me.
