For the life of me, I don't understand why this addition is needed. In the fourth firelis, synchronization is included in the basic package, then why add-on? Without it, everything is also synchronized - I checked :)
If it just remained in version 1.6, then it’s understandable - for people who have not yet switched to Firefox 4, but after updating the browser, Sync was also updated for me. What for? :)

Firefox Sync appeared only in 4.0, and before that, with Firefox 3, I installed it manually. If installed, you can remove it.
