Data synchronization

Why you need Firefox Sync

For the life of me, I don't understand why this addition is needed. In the fourth firelis, synchronization is included in the basic package, then why add-on? Without it, everything is also synchronized - I checked :)
If it just remained in version 1.6, then it’s understandable - for people who have not yet switched to Firefox 4, but after updating the browser, Sync was also updated for me. What for? :)

it's just that Firefox add-ons have not yet learned how to remove themselves if there is such functionality in the new version of the browser ...
Did you install it yourself? So delete it yourself...

Marketing move. Opera has out of the box and we have out of the box. Then, they are also trying to make a mobile version of Firefox. If the user has sync enabled by default, he will go nuts when he sees in his mobile all the bookmarks made on the computer. And the plugin may not be installed, then there will be no such effect. You can read more about how firelis licks opera chips here .

Firefox Sync appeared only in 4.0, and before that, with Firefox 3, I installed it manually. If installed, you can remove it.
