Why won't XP+ADCD 2012 R2 logon scripts run?
Good day.
Logon scripts are not launched in the user configuration on machines running xp, domain 2012 r2
, as an experiment, made a policy that copies the executable file and the configuration file to c:\temp, the same policy prescribes a batch file to the user script to run from the directory of the executable file .
The policy works, there are no errors in the records on the client and server, the file is copied, but the batch file does not start.
I tried the same thing on the computer configuration - it works.
On machines 7 and above, everything works fine for the PC and for the user.
I went further, tried to run any bat file from the netlogon directory up to ping localhost >> c:\out.log - without result, the eventlog reports that the policy was applied successfully.
I dug everything I could, tell me in which direction to dig?
