Why won't my laptop start up after hibernation?

Hello.
I left the laptop in sleep mode, after a while I noticed that it turned off (the sleep indicator did not blink). I tried to turn it on but to no avail. Cooler, hard drive, floppy drive reacted as usual, but the screen remained black. It does not turn off, does not reboot, but it remains to work with a black screen. The OS does not start, even the BIOS cannot be entered.
Unplugging didn't help. Hard reset too. Working memory is normal. Attached an external monitor, zero reaction. Nothing was spilled on the laptop and there is no mechanical damage.
Tell me where to look for the root of the problem. At least what is it? Hardware and software error?

Hard reset too.

What's this?
Try turning off the power, remove the battery, wait at least 15 minutes, try turning it on.
If it does n't help - I join Artem - bring the "sick" to the service.
The problem is "iron" - it does not reach the loading.

There was a similar problem, there was an old Acer laptop. Came from Win XP. On XP, hibernation worked fine, after installing wines 7, it stopped waking up from hibernation. I decided to update the bios (downloaded from the manufacturer's website)

If this is ASUS, then with the network and battery turned off, hold down the power button for 10-15 seconds, sometimes it helps.
it is better to take it to the service, self-repair, without experience, leads to an increase in the cost of repairs at times.

I took it to the service, where my worst fears were confirmed. The video card has failed.
