Why won't Google replace GMail with just Mail?
After the advent of Google+, the search giant began to clearly see a trend towards combining services and building a single interface. I am personally curious why the GMail inscription has not yet sunk into oblivion (which is especially annoying in the Russian interface)?

IMHO, GMail is a well-known brand - they have no reason to move away from it.
All services have just mail, and Gmail, as it were, distinguishes Google mail from the general row, emphasizes individuality and peculiarity, or something. So everything is logical.
