Same trouble. I tried:
- Discover
- sudo apt install brackets
- sudo npm i brackets (looks like a server, but dependencies are ancient and not installed)
- from source ./brackets-release-1.14.2, make (missing make file)
Then I realized that the source is under npm, I do:
- npm install ./brackets-release-1.14.2 (I get a kilometer-long list of errors and ancient dependencies)
Installed only through snap (and then, as always, with jambs of access to disks and usb)
sudo snap install - -classic brackets
Great editor, but installing on Kubuntu 20.04 is a pain in the ass.
