Why such a low speed of file transfer over a local network?

Hello. On the hands there is a computer and a laptop. Both have gigabit cards. And here and there there are ssd disks with a write / read speed of under 500 MB per second. You need to transfer a file under 60GB from the laptop.

I connected them to each other with a lan cable. In the properties, I set ip 192.168.1.5 and 192.168.1.6 on the laptop and PC, respectively. Then I chose that the network is private. Shared the folder to be transferred. I opened the network on my computer and dragged this folder to disk. Here's what I see now:

Why so little? Why not 100?

And why is the speed of 500Mbps? (on the PC and on the laptop the same)

@nastya97core

it was the wire. gigabit wound up on a short cat.5 wire (without the letter "e")
to a fireman: check in the settings of the network card that the speed is 1 GB

@vabka

The speed is not 500mb, but 500mb
500mb is about 60mb
So the speed is quite good and you can't raise it higher if you don't change the wires and network cards.
