Why sessions don't work in php?

Prompt, I kill the second night on the elementary jamb - sessions are not saved.
Centos 7, PHP 5.6.26
, in theory, everything should be stored in /var/lib/php/sessions/
So the script is working, at the very end I output var_dump($_SESSION) - everything is in place. The next tab is blank.
I naturally call session_start.
session files in the folder are empty and nothing falls there.
Help, I want to sleep =)

I'll answer myself... for some reason it helped session.auto_start = on
