Why might the network interface be missing when installing hamachi on Debian?
Good afternoon. There was a need to set up and connect a server on Debian 7 to a working hamachi network. Installation and configuration went smoothly, without errors, the manual is from here - www.nurasto.com/2012/06/19/implementing-logmein-ha... . The problem is only 1 - not a single ip from the hamachi network is pinged, and the traceroute goes nowhere. Looking at ifconfig showed that the system does not have a network interface to work with the new network.
Installation on locally raised Ubuntu and Debian did not reproduce the error, which confuses even more, although it inspires optimism. Please let me know what is causing this problem and what are the possible solutions. Thank you!

It is necessary to look at the logs, as an option he could add the interface in the off state, try ifconfig -a . If there is no interface here, therefore, a failure occurred when adding, maybe there were not enough rights, maybe something else, logs, logs are needed ..
