Why might the lamp turn off during a scan?

The scanner lay on the shelf for a couple of years. Now I tried to scan, but I immediately got a black sheet, the lamp did not turn on in the scanner. Moreover, if you lift the lid, it is still black, that is, natural light was not captured.
I ran the scan 50 times, the lamp began to light up and in the resulting image it was scanned from half a centimeter and then blackness again. I ran 150 again - it became a little more than 1-1.5 cm to scan, but then it was still black.
The carriage rides to the end as it should, does not get stuck anywhere, the sound does not change.
