Why is Zabbix server constantly losing clients?

Hello.
There is a network of several offices scattered across different cities.
Offices are networked via OpenVPN. The VPN is configured to work over TCP.
The whole thing is monitored by Zabbix, through zabbix agents.
So, the zabbix server periodically (about once a minute) reports that some offices are unavailable (different each time), despite the fact that vpn did not break, pings in both directions are stable.
If you set OpenVPN to UDP, this problem disappears. But UDP is unacceptable, because Mikrotik does not support it, through which some offices are tied into a network.
Who faced such problem? Where to dig?

I think the problem is not in zabbix, but in the network. Have you tried pinging for a long time? Is there any packet loss?

@Jodes

Again, pings are stable in both directions. No loss and long time.

You can try to ping with large packets, it happens that a trifle passes, and a little more with losses. My workshop is also connected via OpenVPN, and an agent is also sitting there, so that's how it started that the agent falls off (periodically) and that's it. The pings are coming. Xs where to dig, it turned out that the port in the route bus in the workshop was bent, the patch to another port and that's it.
